Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days for physical products (books, magazines, zines). If 30 days have passed since you received your physical item, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
For downloadable products (eBooks, PDFs, digital magazines or zines), all sales are final. Due to the nature of digital files, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once a download has been initiated or the file has been accessed.
Returns for physical items (books, magazines, zines)
To be eligible for a return, your physical item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging (if any). Returns that show signs of wear, damage, or handling beyond simply opening the product may be denied or subject to a partial refund.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Non-returnable items (physical)
Certain types of physical items cannot be returned. These include:
- Any bundled items like stickers or bookmarks
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software or digital products (already covered above)
- Magazines or zines that have been opened or read (due to hygiene and reading wear)
- Any book, magazine, or zine that shows clear signs of use (dog-eared pages, cover damage, writing inside)
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company – it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Contact your bank – there is often processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at halo@hamzah.id with the subject “Late/Missing Refunds”.
Sale items
Only regular-priced physical items may be refunded. Sale items, clearance books, or discounted magazines/zines cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receiving (need to record a video as proof). If you need to exchange a physical book, magazine, or zine for the same title, send us an email at halo@hamzah.id with the subject “Exchanges” and ask for the address.
Digital downloads
Because digital products (eBooks, PDFs, digital zines) cannot be “returned,” we do not offer refunds once the file has been downloaded or accessed. If you accidentally purchase a duplicate or experience a technical issue (corrupted file, wrong format), please contact us within 7 days – we may issue a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
Shipping returns
To return your physical product, you should send us an email to halo@hamzah.id for an address with the subject “Shipping Returns”.
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items (e.g., rare books or boxed zine sets), you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
